Fitting Made Easy

It’s so easy. The key to perfect assembly rest in the precision cutting of the tube. The combination of “O” rings and MMA300 epoxy resin ensure a joint of quality and exceptional strength equal to any BS or DIN standard.

Many Joints are created by screwing one component onto another. It is recommended you apply locking paste in this process.

The multi directional connecting system with two ring shims is invaluable as it permits a +/- 5 degree adjustment to the angle.

Ideal for handrails and cross bars. Drill 12.1 mm hole in tube (or use an appropriate system post) insert a M8 riv nut, WR8 and screw RA 1006 to create the perfect joint.

Always apply epoxy resin to tube – 8-10mm. This then provides a high tensile and corrosive resistant joint. Having made the joint wipe off any surplus resin immediately – AVOID CONTACT WITH SKIN OR CLOTHING.

The tube connectors and couplings are made of austentite material 1.4305 / ASI 304. This material contains 18% chromium and is anti corrosive under normal European climatic and atmospheric conditions.

The Haboe system offers such flexibility when combined with other materials – Wood – Glass – Stone Mable – Black Iron.

TUBES are manufactured using material 1.4302 / ASI 304 (42.4mm) and 14404/4401 / ASI316 (50.8mm) laser welded following DIN2463, quality D3/T3. In chlorinated areas, swimming pools or coastal regions it is appropriate to use 316 grade material.

Components when fitted together allow the designer installer to satisfy the demand of current Building Regulations including those under the Disability Act.
